Welcome, Alnwick Chess Club is the most Northerly chess club playing in the Northumberland Chess Association. [NCA].
We are a friendly chess club consisting of players from Alnwick, Warkworth, Pegswood all with varying chess ability & chess experience, some players individually having played chess for over 40 years, to others who have taken chess up recently, or re-started playing chess again after many years away from the chessboards.
The chess club is always looking for more people interested in playing chess, including those of you completely new to playing chess, to players already having some chess experience.
You will find our players very enthusiastic about chess, with the more experienced players sharing their vast knowledge & understanding of the game to the rest of us.
